Emerald, Imogen and Maria kidnap Tray, who humiliated them on socal media, seeking revenge for their ruined reputations.
The film is mainly set in the abandoned warehouse where Tray is taken hostage. It is a big open-plan space, divided for the different scenes with the use of elements like plastic dustsheets, cardboard boxes, costume racks and old lights. Among other locations are Tray’s bedroom, Emerald’s office, and the outdoor parking area.
The costumes are inspired by each character’s personality and background, with Emerald, early 40s, being a successful CEO of her own company, and feisty personality, Maria early 30s, a retail brand store manager, and a kind, sensitive person, and Imogen a gen-z aspiring fashion influencer, who works as a part-time delivery carrier. Each one has her colour palette, with Emerald appearing in bold reds and greens, Maria in oranges, leopard and earthy tones, and Imogen in pastels.
